🚀 Suit Up with Shay: A 4-Week Space Adventure! Discover. Imagine. Dream Big. Join us on a 4-week journey beyond the stars! Through stories, games, and creative challenges, students in Grades 3–5 explore what it means to prepare for space, learn about space missions, and dream about their own future among the stars. Here’s what we explored: 👩🏾‍🚀 Week 1: Meet Sharon McDougle & Suit Up! We discovered the inspiring story of Sharon McDougle and explored the special gear astronauts wear to stay safe in space. 🚀 Week 2: Mission to Space! Students learned what space exploration means — from launching rockets to exploring planets and traveling beyond Earth. 🛰️ Week 3: Walking in Space We took a closer look at spacewalks, how astronauts move outside their spacecraft, and what it takes to survive in zero gravity. 🌌 Week 4: We Are the Future of Space! Students imagined their dream space jobs, created their own roles, and celebrated their learning with reflection and fun.
